The Verge got official answers to some questions and IMHO the responses are all wrong.

For current models: Yes.
Basically it was corp speech for “DRM on filament, subscriptions, and forced cloud mode will come in the next models”. Otherwise they wouldn’t have put such emphasis on “current models” and completely leave the door open for anything that might come out next month

why on their website they still link their (now abandoned) xitter account instead of the active bluesky account?

There are a lot of websites that pretend to give you a hacked version but all the download button does is to show more ads. They just automatically fill pages with automatically stolen content from play store

If you make a 20 minutes video about air quality and smells when 3d printing filaments it’s a bit ridiculous to insert a sponsored segment saying “a low odor resin that can be safely cleaned with ethanol” like if it required less care/protections
Kinda like UAE funding a movie against fracking.

They’re waiting that the tech is becoming the past gen. They can’t launch something from the current gen, it must be 3-4 gens behind and compensate that with their coding geniuses that can still make masterpieces with the limited resources available. Maybe it’s going to be something as powerful as an iPhone 11 would be mind-blowing 🤯
